SO Women Fellowship 2026: international researchers visit the BSC Life Sciences Department

The Bioinfo4Women programme at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) is proud to welcome a cohort of outstanding international researchers through the Severo Ochoa Women Fellowship during 2026. This initiative brings world-class scientists to the Life Sciences Department to foster scientific exchange, collaboration, and gender equity in computational biology.

The Severo Ochoa Excellence Programme recognises research centres of outstanding scientific quality in Spain. At BSC, the fellowship supports women researchers at all career stages: from postdoctoral scientists to established group leaders, working across bioinformatics, machine learning, multi-omics, structural biology, and responsible AI.
